Ten years ago we shipped our first website – from a living-room table. Today we look after more than 150 projects. Time to look back.
1. Simple beats complicated
The websites that keep working well the longest are the simplest ones. Every extra feature needs maintenance – so for every request we ask: do we really need this?
2. Listening is half the job
The best projects start with lots of questions and few answers. If you understand your clients’ goals, you build the right website – not just a pretty one.
3. Accessibility belongs in from the start
Making a site accessible after the fact is expensive. Thinking about it from day one costs almost nothing. We learned that early and have never regretted it.
4. Fast is a feature
Load time isn’t a technical gimmick. It decides whether someone stays or leaves. That’s why we measure it on every project.
5. Good collaboration needs short paths
One fixed contact, honest timelines, quick replies. It sounds obvious – and it’s the reason many clients have been with us for years.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of these ten years. Here’s to the next ten!
